THE UNITED METHODIST MEN SWEETHEART DINNER ON FEBRUARY 12 REQUIRES RESERVATIONS. 1 P.M. AT SHONEYS FOR MORE INFORMATION, AND TO RESERVE YOUR PLACE, CONTACT TIA BIRO OR DON DAVIS IF YOU PLAN TO TAKE YOUR VALENTINE.

We've seen the sales pitch so many stores use to get us in the door: BUY ONE GET ONE FREE!! But if we want only one, we could buy and bring the extra one to church and donate it to Scotts Run Settlement House. One of our neighbors could surely use it, right? Whether we're buying an extra can of beans or a bottle of dishwashing detergent, SRSH needs our help to stock and restock their shelves. If each of us brings only one item a week, we could help keep their pantry stocked.
Dedicating flowers for our worship services adds to the beauty of our sanctuary, reminds us of the splendor of God's creation, and can commemorate events, remember loved ones, or honor family and friends.
